I’ll never forget the day I felt like I was drowning in a sea of unread articles and books. As an ambitious professional, I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve my skills and stay ahead of the curve. But with a constant influx of new information, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and behind. My “to-read” list seemed to be growing exponentially, and I was starting to worry that I’d never have time to catch up.

The Discovery

One day, I stumbled upon a reading plan that changed everything for me. It all started when I decided to take control of my knowledge base. I organized all the resources I’d collected over the years into a single, easily accessible system. But then came the hard part: making time to read them. That’s when I realized that quality over quantity was key. No more mindless scrolling through social media or watching hours of YouTube videos. Instead, I focused on consuming high-quality content that would actually make a difference in my life.

I also implemented a one page a day rule for myself. This might sound like a small step, but trust me, it’s a game-changer. By committing to reading just one article or chapter per day, I was able to make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed. And remember, the goal is not to read everything – just to read what matters.

But here’s the thing: consistency is key. That’s why I adopted a 7-day cycle for myself. By tracking my progress over the course of a week, I was able to see how far I’d come and stay motivated to keep going. It’s amazing how a small commitment like this can add up over time.

With these three tips in mind, I’ve been able to regain control over my reading habits and expand my knowledge at the same time.
